Michelle Poe

SInger / Songwriter / Bass Guitarist

About

Michelle is a seasoned singer, songwriter and musician who grew up honing her skills in the Poe family band, where she played bass with her mom and stepdad from the age of 8.  She moved to Nashville in 1991 to attend Middle Tennessee State University and earned a bachelors degree in Aerospace Administration.  She paid her dues playing clubs and bars by night, which ultimately led to road gigs with high-profile artists including Steve Holy, Dierks Bentley and currently the iconic Hank Williams, Jr.  She landed a solo deal with Dreamworks Records , releasing a 12-song album featuring the titular track, "Just One of The Boys," which reached the top 20 on the GAC weekly country video countdown.  She also partnered with Trick Pony's Keith Burns in the acclaimed duo Burns and Poe, 2010's Independent Country Artist of the Year. She is currently still touring with Hank Williams Jr. and occasionally playing acoustic gigs around town with friends.

When not touring, Michelle lives in Nashville, TN with her two beloved yorkies.
